This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) explains Company’s policies and procedures regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal information and data we receive from users of the website we own and operate, namely www.astorianevents.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected through the Site.
Capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Policy have the meanings given in our Terms of Use. This Privacy Policy is part of, and incorporated into, the Terms of Use.
By visiting this Site, you are accepting the policies and practices described in this Privacy Policy, as such Privacy Policy may be amended from time to time. Each time you visit the Site, you agree to our collection, use and disclosure of the information that you provide as described in this Privacy Policy.

We collect both “Personal Information” and “Anonymous Information” about our users. When we use the phrase “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we mean information that identifies, relates to, describes, or could reasonably be linked with a particular individual or household, like your name, postal address, e-mail address, or phone number, as well as other non-public information associated with this Personal Information. If you choose to inquire about or book catering or event services, request a quote or proposal, join our mailing list, purchase a gift card, place an order, apply for or inquire about an employment opportunity, request a philanthropic donation, or otherwise provide us with your Personal Information, we will collect and store such Personal Information and use it for the purpose for which you provided it to us.
We are committed to the principle of data minimization. We collect only the Personal Information that is reasonably necessary and proportionate to achieve the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, and we do not collect Personal Information that is excessive in relation to those purposes.
Information we automatically collect and store about your visit to our Site may include some or all of the following: (i) your IP address; (ii) the type of browser, device, and operating system used to access our Site; (iii) the date and time you access our Site; (iv) the pages you visit and time spent on them; and (v) the address (URL) of the website from which you linked to our Site.
We may use your Personal Information to respond to your inquiries; to prepare and provide quotes, proposals, and catering or event services; to process your orders and gift card purchases; to process and evaluate employment applications; to send you information about events, services, and offers; and to otherwise communicate with and respond to you.
We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, including analytics services, to understand how visitors use the Site, to measure and improve the Site’s performance, and to tailor the Site to the needs of our users. See “Cookies, Analytics, and Your Choices” below for the specific providers we use and the choices available to you.
A “cookie” is a small text file stored on your device. We use both first-party and third-party cookies and similar technologies. Some are strictly necessary for the Site to function; others are used for analytics and measurement.
We use the following third-party analytics and tag-management services on the Site: Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (provided by Google LLC) and Microsoft Clarity (provided by Microsoft Corporation). These services may collect information such as your IP address, device and browser information, pages viewed, and interactions with the Site, and may set their own cookies. This information is shared with these providers for the purposes of analytics and measurement.
These non-essential analytics technologies do not load until you give consent. When you first visit the Site, a consent banner allows you to Accept or Decline. If you decline, these technologies remain blocked. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link displayed on the Site.
We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC). If your browser or a browser extension sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out, and these non-essential technologies will not load.
To protect our forms from spam and abuse we use Google reCAPTCHA, which is loaded only when you begin interacting with a form. Your use of reCAPTCHA is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
We do not sell your Personal Information for money. However, our use of third-party analytics and advertising technologies (described above) may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of Personal Information under certain California laws. You can opt out of this activity as described in “Cookies, Analytics, and Your Choices” and in “Your California Privacy Rights” below.
We may share Personal Information with: (i) our affiliates, subsidiaries, and joint ventures; (ii) our employees, agents, administrators, accountants, financial advisors, and legal advisors; (iii) service providers and vendors who perform functions on our behalf (such as hosting, analytics, email delivery, payment processing, and form/spam protection), who are permitted to use the information only to provide services to us; (iv) third parties that assist us with interest-based advertising for commercial purposes; and (v) third parties as described in this Privacy Policy or with your consent.
We do not limit the ways in which we might use or share non-personal information because non-personal information does not identify you. For example, we may freely share non-personal information with our vendors, suppliers, representatives, and other individuals, businesses, and government entities. We also use non-personal information in the form of aggregate or de-identified data. We commit to using de-identified data without attempting to restore it so that we could identify specific individuals with that information.
We may disclose information we have collected about you if required to do so by law or if we, in our sole discretion, believe that disclosure is reasonable to comply with the law, requests or orders from law enforcement, or any legal process, or to protect or defend the Company’s, or a third party’s, rights or property.
In the event we undergo a business transition such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your Personal Information may be among the assets transferred. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur and are permitted by this Privacy Policy.
In connection with any business transition, you will be notified by email or by prominent notice on the Site of any ownership change and any change in the use of your Personal Information. We seek appropriate protection for Personal Information in these types of transactions.
At any time, you can choose to no longer receive commercial or promotional emails from us by sending us an email to hello@astorianevents.com. Also, in any promotional email we send, you may opt out of future messages by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the email. It may take up to 10 days for us to process an opt-out request.
Even if you have unsubscribed from promotional emails, we may send you other important communications, such as customer service announcements and administrative notices.
To comply with CAN-SPAM, we agree to the following: not use false or misleading subjects or email addresses; identify the message as an advertisement in some reasonable way; include the physical address of our headquarters; monitor third-party email marketing services for compliance, if one is used; honor opt-out/unsubscribe requests quickly; and allow users to unsubscribe by using the link at the bottom of each email.
We employ administrative, physical and electronic measures designed to protect your Personal Information from unauthorized access. We will make any legally required disclosures of any breach of the security, confidentiality, or integrity of your unencrypted electronically stored personal data to you via email or conspicuous posting on the Site without unreasonable delay, consistent with the legitimate needs of law enforcement and any measures necessary to determine the scope of the breach and restore the integrity of the data system. Although guaranteed security does not exist on or off the internet, we make commercially reasonable efforts to protect such information.
We retain your Personal Information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose(s) for which it was collected, to provide our services, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. The criteria used to determine our retention periods include the length of our relationship with you, the nature of the information, and applicable legal requirements.
This section applies to California residents and is provided under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA/CPRA”).
Categories of Personal Information we collect. In the preceding 12 months we may have collected the following categories of Personal Information: identifiers (such as name, email address, postal address, phone number, and IP address); customer records (such as billing and order information); commercial information (such as services inquired about or purchased); internet or other electronic network activity (such as browsing and interaction data); geolocation data (approximate, derived from IP address); professional or employment-related information (for job applicants); and inferences drawn from the above.
Sources. We collect this information directly from you, automatically through your use of the Site (including cookies and analytics technologies), and from our service providers.
Purposes. We use this information for the business and commercial purposes described in “How We Use Your Information” and “Cookies, Analytics, and Your Choices.”
Disclosure and “sharing.” We disclose identifiers and internet activity information to our service providers and to analytics providers (Google and Microsoft). We do not sell Personal Information for money, but our use of analytics/advertising cookies may constitute a “sale” or “sharing” under the CCPA/CPRA. As used in this Privacy Policy, “sell” means the disclosure of Personal Information to a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration, and “share” means the disclosure of Personal Information to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes. We do not knowingly sell or share the Personal Information of consumers under 16 years of age.
Your rights. Subject to certain exceptions, California residents have the right to: (1) know/access the categories and specific pieces of Personal Information we have collected; (2) delete Personal Information we have collected from you; (3) correct inaccurate Personal Information; (4) opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of Personal Information; (5) limit the use of sensitive Personal Information (note: we do not use or disclose sensitive Personal Information for purposes that trigger this right); (6) data portability – request a copy of your Personal Information in a portable, readily usable format; and (7) not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.
How to exercise your rights. To opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your Personal Information, use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link on the Site, decline cookies in the consent banner, or enable Global Privacy Control in your browser. To exercise your right to know, delete, or correct, contact us at hello@astorianevents.com. We will verify your request using the information associated with you and will respond within the timeframes required by law (generally within 45 days). You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may require the agent to provide proof of authorization and may require you to verify your identity directly with us.
Appeal rights. If we decline to act on your request to exercise your privacy rights, you may appeal that decision by sending an email to hello@astorianevents.com with the subject line “Appeal Regarding Personal Information.” In your appeal, please clearly state the basis for your disagreement with our decision and whether you prefer to receive a response to your appeal by mail or email.
Minors. If you are a California resident under 16 years of age, we will not sell or share your Personal Information unless you (if you are 13–15) or your parent or guardian (if you are under 13) have affirmatively authorized it. Where we collect age information through our forms, we apply consent requirements accordingly.
Non-Discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights under the CCPA/CPRA or other applicable privacy laws. Unless permitted by applicable law, we will not, as a result of your exercise of privacy rights: (a) deny you goods or services; (b) charge you different prices or rates for goods or services, including through the use of discounts or other benefits or the imposition of penalties; (c) provide you a different level or quality of goods or services; or (d) suggest that you will receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services.
“Shine the Light.” Under California’s “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code § 1798.83), California residents may request information about our disclosure of Personal Information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, email us at hello@astorianevents.com.
The laws in some states may give you specific additional rights related to your personal information. Depending on your location or residency, you may have the right to ask that we do one or more of the following: give you more information about our use of your Personal Information; let you access the specific Personal Information we have about you; transfer a copy of your Personal Information to you or someone else you select; delete all or some of your Personal Information; correct all or some of your Personal Information; limit or restrict our use of your Personal Information; allow you to object to, opt out of, or withdraw your consent to our use of your Personal Information; and give you information about and object to our reasons for processing Personal Information. The Site is not directed or intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect or solicit Personal Information from individuals under 13 years of age. If we later obtain actual knowledge that a user is under 13 years of age, we will take steps to remove that user’s Personal Information from our systems. If you are the parent or guardian of a child whom you believe has disclosed Personal Information to us, please contact us via email at hello@astorianevents.com so that we may delete and remove such child’s information from our systems.
This Privacy Policy does not address the privacy practices of any websites that link to or from our Site. We do not monitor, control, or endorse the information collection or privacy practices of any third parties. Please consult the privacy practices of these companies before submitting any data to them.
We reserve the right to change, modify, add or remove portions of this Privacy Policy at any time. We will post any changes to this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
If we make material changes to how we treat your Personal Information, we will notify you by email to the primary email address you have provided (if applicable) and through a notice on the Site’s home page. If any term or condition of this Privacy Policy is deemed invalid or unenforceable by a court of law with binding authority, then the remaining terms and conditions shall not be affected, and the court shall reform the invalidated or unenforceable term or condition to the maximum extent permitted under the law and consistent with the intent of this Privacy Policy.
